Asset Control Scan and Action Functions

Objective:

Explain what a user is seeing on the Asset>Control Scan and Action Buttons.

Rights Needed:

Versions:

XSPOC: 3.1, 3.2

Purpose:

These buttons allow the user with the correct specified rights to scan and to send specified commands to the controller.

Instruction:

1. Open XPOC Client
2. From the navigation panel locate and select the Asset Tab
3. Click Asset>Scan
   1. This will scan the current well selected.
4. Click Asset>Action and a drop-down menu appears allowing the user to send commands to the selected well, according to specified rights in XSPOC.
   1. Scan
   2. Scan Continuously
   3. Start Well
   4. Shutdown Well
   5. Idle Well
   6. Clear Alarms
   7. Reset Clocks
   8. Mode
      1. Constand Run
      2. % Timer
      3. POC
   9. Enable
   10. Disable
