Versions:
XSPOC: 3.1, 3.2
Purpose:
Familiarize users with the Generate Encrypted Password function in XSPOC.
Instruction:

- Open the XPOC Client
- From the navigation panel locate and select the Tools Tab
- Click Tools Tab > Generate Encrypted Password Icon
- Clicking on the Generate Encrypted Password Icon opens a screen with the encrypted password.
- The Password is copied to the Clipboard.
- Clicking OK closed the dialogue box.
- If customers prefer to use an encrypted (hashed) password to connect to the XSPOC database on the SQL server. To accommodate this function, we built password encryption into the XSPOC client. This password can be used to replace the password in the connection string used by the XSPOC Server application and the XSPOC Client application. For more information, please contact Theta Support.
