To explain what the user sees when XTOOLS opens in XSPOC.

Purpose:

Familiarize users with the XTOOLS in XSPOC. XTOOLS software lets you quickly calculate important pump system parameters to arrive at a more optimized system. The software works in unison with other Theta offerings, including XROD, RODSTAR and XDIAG, to provide detailed suggestions regarding the operation of both critical and peripheral system components. This is an additional Theta design software product that requires a separate purchase and valid license.

Instruction:

1. Open the XPOC Client
2. From the navigation panel locate and select the Tools Tab
3. Click Tools Tab > XTOOLS Icon
4. The XTOOLS screen opens and displays the following:
   1. SPM-Calc
   2. Sheave-Calc
   3. Gas Anchor Designer
   4. Tubing Anchor-Calc
   5. Polished Rod Picker
   6. Pump Slippage Calc
5. The product license is displayed at the bottom center of the screen

1. Click on Settings and a separate Settings window opens containing:
   1. Measurement System – select desired measurement units
   2. XTOOLS Data path – allows the user to set the default path for XTOOLS files.
   3. Select the Exit icon on the bottom right to close the program.
