Changes to Hall Effect RPM Button Magnet

Scope:

It has been reported that the hall effect RPM button magnets (used for the motor shaft sensor) can come lose or fall out of the magnet cup (holder). This Technical Bulletin describes the new hall effect button magnet design.

Solution:

The housing of the button magnet has been redesigned to ensure the magnet cannot come lose or fall out.

2 – MAG-18X5MM: FERRITE CERAMIC MAGNET

Steps for Mitigation:

All hall effect kits will include this new button magnet design.
