Recover A Deleted Well

You are here:
< Back

If a well was deleted in XSPOC it just removes it from tblNodeMaster. The NodeID is a primary key in multiple tables in the XSPOC database. If you try to create the well again using the exact same name, it will fail. There is a way to re-create the well that was deleted.

Here are the steps.
1. Go to Tools>Database>tblWellDetails and add an x at the end of the NodeID for the Well that you want to re-create in XSPOC.
2. Create a New Asset in the XSPOC Client by going to Asset>New Asset with the original Well Name.
3. Go back to tblWellDetails and delete the newly created Well by clicking on the black triangle at the beginning of the row and hitting the delete key on your keyboard.
4. Find the Well in tblWellDetails where you added the x to the name and remove the x.
5. Scan the well.
