Add a Custom Controller POCType

OC It is possible to add a controller to XSPOC that is not currently in the Product. Generally, after adding the controller you should be able to read registers, trend data, receive alarms, and possibly control the device depending on the controller. 

 There are several tables to use, this also depends on what version of XSPOC you are running. It is always best to upgrade to the latest version. These instructions are for the most recent version of XSPOC. 

 tblAlarmConfigByPOCType 

-Enter registers that are RTU Alarms in the Controller 

 tblApplicationParamStandardTypes 

-Enter any custom ParamStandardType # for your ApplicationID’s used 

 tblApplications 

-Look up the Application ID for your Controller Type 

 tblCommandActions 

-Used to shutdown, start, or clear the well – if the controller has registers for this. 

 tblControlActions 

-Look up the Control Action ID used to activate buttons on Well Status and Group Status screens 

 tblParameters 

-Enter address and description of registers from the MODBUS map 

-Select Setpoints, StatusScan, CollectionMode, setpointgroup 

– When setting up a paramater for the run status, you must label it Run Status as this is a key word that allows it to show in your group status windows etc.

-Enter POCType and ControlActionID

-Enter POCType and ApplicationID 

 tblPOCTypes 

-Enter custom POCType in the ranges designated below 

501-520 RPC 

521-540 ESP 

541-550 EFM 

561-570 PCP 

571-580 Gas Lift and Plunger Lift (EXCEPTIONS: Fisher ROC Devices Custom Range is 285-300 and Total Flow Devices Custom Range is 326-350)

581-590 Injectors 

 -Enter POCTypes in the ranges designated below if no addresses are entered in tblParameters and only Facility Tags are used for custom facilities. 

601-700 – Facilities 

 tblStates 

-Create new states as needed and used by the controller 

-Start at 10000 

 tblStatusRegisters 

-Enter POCType and addresses that will be displayed on the lower left corner of Well Status 

-Designate the order they will be listed 

 tblSetpointGroups 

-Use existing SetpoitnGroups or create new ones 

-If creating new ones start at 10000
