Due to changes made in XSPOC version 3.0 and above, if you have any spaces in your connection string you may receive a runtime error in xserror log that states…
Runtime error 988416, Member HostName of Connection is invalid. on line XXXX
You will notice the space between the .58 and the | that needs to be removed. Go to the configuration of the asses and remove the space, then rescan the device.
