Installation of the SMARTEN Heater Assembly Kit

SMARTEN 50 Watt Heater Kit

Scope:

This Technical Bulletin describes the installation of the SMARTEN Heater assembly kit (PN 1159347). The Smarten enclosure is installed separate from the VSD enclosure and needs to have its own heater to function in extreme cold.

Procedure:

1. Ensure 110VAC is off before installing
2. Install Heater on din rail as low in enclosure possible and centered left to right. Define the solution
3. Install din mount fuse holder
4. Install fuse.
5. Connect neutral (white) wire directly from supply 110VAC to heater.
6. Connect line (black) wire directly from supply 110VAC to fuse holder.
7. Connect fuse holder output to heater.

1. Secure wires and apply power if applicable.
